Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Quelo, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use Quelo. These Terms form a binding agreement between you (or your company) and ANSA mind AB (“we”, “us”, “our”), a Swedish company operating Quelo. Using Quelo means you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms together with our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of service

Quelo is an AI-powered LinkedIn content tool for founders, creators, and entrepreneurs. Quelo connects to your data sources (GitHub, Stripe, Shopify, Notion, Linear, and others), detects meaningful events (code shipped, customers gained, milestones hit), and automatically drafts LinkedIn posts that reflect your results in your voice. All drafts are presented in an inbox for your review — Quelo never posts automatically. You review, edit, and copy each post yourself.

Core capabilities:

• Event-driven post drafting from connected integrations
• Tone calibration wizard and knowledge base for voice consistency
• Inbox-based review queue with three editing modes (save, AI Polish, re-generate)
• Genuine image recommendations (no AI-generated images)
• Duplicate detection (source lock + semantic similarity check)
• Manual “I have an idea” trigger for ad-hoc post creation
• BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) support for your own AI provider

3. Account registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating a Quelo account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately at hello@quelo.ai if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

You may not create multiple Free accounts to circumvent plan limitations. One person or legal entity = one Free account. You must be at least 18 years old to use Quelo.

4. Subscription and payment

• Free Plan — available without payment, with the limitations described in Section 5 and on the Quelo pricing page.
• Pro Plan — billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are displayed in USD and exclude VAT where applicable. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Annual billing — if you choose annual billing, you are charged for the full year upfront.
• Refunds — we do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods. If you cancel your Pro subscription, your plan remains active and Pro features remain accessible until the end of the current billing period.
• Failed payments — if a payment fails, we will attempt to collect payment for 3 days. If payment remains unsuccessful after 3 attempts, your account reverts to the Free plan automatically.
• Price changes — we will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price changes to your current plan. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
• Taxes — you are responsible for any applicable taxes (VAT, GST, etc.) in your jurisdiction. For EU customers, VAT may be added at checkout based on your country.

5. Free tier limitations

The Free plan is designed to let you evaluate Quelo before committing to a paid subscription. Free plan includes:

• A limited number of AI-generated post drafts per month (see current limits at quelo.ai/pricing)
• Access to the tone calibration wizard
• 1 connected integration (GitHub or Stripe)
• Basic knowledge base (structured data only — no vector embeddings / RAG)
• Inbox review queue with all three editing modes

Features that require a Pro subscription:

• Unlimited AI-generated drafts
• Multiple connected integrations
• Full knowledge base with vector embeddings and RAG generation
• AI-generated trigger setup on integration connect
• BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) for custom AI providers
• Digest mode and advanced trigger filtering
• Priority support

We reserve the right to adjust Free plan limits. We will notify existing Free users at least 14 days before reducing limits.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Quelo to:

• Send unsolicited bulk messages or spam via any platform
• Harvest personal data from LinkedIn or any other platform without authorization
• Violate LinkedIn's Terms of Service or any other platform's usage policies
• Violate any applicable law or regulation, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, or CASL
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, generation caps, or plan restrictions
• Impersonate another person, company, or brand
• Transmit malware or attempt to compromise the security of Quelo or its users
• Use Quelo to generate content that is defamatory, fraudulent, or deceptive
• Resell or sublicense access to Quelo without written permission from ANSA mind AB

Content you generate: you are solely responsible for the posts you create, edit, copy, and publish using Quelo. We are not responsible for how you use the generated content on LinkedIn or any other platform.

7. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

Quelo allows you to connect your own API keys from third-party AI providers (“Bring Your Own Key” or BYOK). When you use BYOK:

• You are responsible for compliance with those providers' terms of service
• You are responsible for all costs incurred through your API keys (usage charges from OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Groq, etc.)
• You are responsible for keeping your keys secure and rotating them if compromised
• We store your keys encrypted (Fernet encryption at rest) and use them exclusively to fulfill your generation requests
• BYOK workspaces are billed at cost-pass-through only — no AI margin is charged on top of your provider's costs

If your BYOK key is invalid or quota is exceeded, Quelo will surface a clear error message directing you to Settings. We do not silently fall back to the platform key.

8. Intellectual property

• ANSA mind AB's IP — Quelo, including its code, design, user interface, documentation, connectors, and all underlying technology, is owned by ANSA mind AB. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited license to use Quelo as described here.
• Your IP — you retain all rights to your data, content, and materials, including your knowledge base content, writing samples, company information, and the posts you write or approve. By using Quelo, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process your data solely to provide the Quelo service to you.
• Generated content — post drafts generated by Quelo using your tone profile, knowledge base, and event data belong to you. We claim no rights to AI-generated posts created from your inputs. You are free to use, modify, and publish them as you see fit.
• Third-party content — if you paste URLs, documents, or third-party materials into Quelo's manual trigger, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use that content.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Quelo is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ANSA mind AB disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that:

• AI-generated post content is accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation
• Quelo will be available uninterrupted or error-free
• Using Quelo will result in increased LinkedIn engagement, followers, or business results

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ANSA mind AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of Quelo — including but not limited to lost profits, lost business opportunities, reputational damage, or data loss.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of Quelo shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Swedish or EU consumer protection law.

10. Termination

By you: you may terminate your Quelo account at any time by navigating to Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by emailing hello@quelo.ai. Upon deletion, your Pro subscription (if any) is cancelled. No partial-period refund is issued. Your data is deleted within 30 days of account termination (except where retention is required by law — see our Privacy Policy, §5).

By us: we may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation. We will provide notice where reasonably practicable. Serious violations (spam, illegal use, security attacks) may result in immediate termination without notice.

Upon any termination:

• Your access to Quelo ends immediately
• Your data is deleted within 30 days
• Payment records are retained for 7 years per Swedish bookkeeping law

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in Swedish courts, with Stockholm as the agreed venue.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you may also have rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email and/or an in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Quelo after the notice period constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you may terminate your account before they take effect (see Section 10).
